Hoorah - last leg booked!

Well after much moaning from Mr DL I've today booked our final flight on the up - coming Oz junket (leaving 3 weeks tomorrow ). I've dithered for eons about what to do with our last free days - we're tied into most of the stay because of family / friend commitments. I looked at flying to Uluru but have never been desperate to visit on previous trips so we've decided to drive down from Brisbane to Sydney and then fly back to Melbourne for the last few days before we depart back to HKG with CX.
Anything we can't miss on the way?
I have a couple of CCR invites available on the 19th Jan if any regular V- flyers are in T5 .

And do packing cubes come in kitchen sink sizes? I know you don't (can't?) pack light!

As for this packing light nonsense... not really in my repertoire... ): but this trip I'm going to try very hard ( but like my old school reports the result will be "could try harder " ).

I was a bit dismissive about packing cubes too but like you DL, finally tried them and am completely converted. They are just made for those of us who don't even think of packing light (what a weird notion, I can pack most of what I own and still be without the very thing I need). With enough of the cubes, you can keep packing and re-packing before you go without everything getting crushed and creased. Definitely designed by and for baby boomer women I reckon!

And the Oz trip sounds fabulous, can we have extended TRs please to cover the bits between flights?

I think even the main motion picture filmmakers are going to be waiting for this TR...an epic movie in the making y) y)

Have a great trip. Visiting Melbourne is a great idea- I used to work and live there, so have fond memories. i suspect it may have changed a bit since I was there. I look forward to your Trs.

PS the cubes are fab- for an OCD packer like me they are a go-send! And I have learnt to pack lighter with them, so you never know, you may too
