The flight deck crew are certainly going to earn their money today. I know they train over and over for things like this in the simulator... but it's for real now. Fingers crossed all goes well.

That plane is certainly not going onto Vegas today.

From the BBC Website :

A Virgin Atlantic passenger plane "is preparing to implement a non-standard landing" at Gatwick airport because of "a technical issue with one of the landing gears", the airline has said.

Looks like just 3 main landing gear then.

Looks like she's broken the hold, and is heading in to land, x-fingers for all on board.

Oh dear! Hope the landing goes well. Tracking progress closely on my phone. Looks like it's heading north again following a few rounds on the south coast.
