Don't know whether this has come up before (as i haven't been online for quite some time), but i just wanted to know, which are the A330's which are supposed to be based at Gatwick. Is there no strict allocation on the Gatwick fleet since G-VSXY and G-VKSS moved to LHR? Does it keep on changing from time to time? G-VGBR seems to have been based at LGW for a long time, going there after visiting Malta in June last year

None of them are specifically LGW based. They basically stay there until they are due for a maintenance check then get swapped round with another one.

all aircraft now, once refitted (LHR) or replaced (LHR), will be interchangable between LGW and LHR although LHR has a slightly different layout due to the pax class offering being different due to commonly more business than leisure but vs are looking to have a fleet that is interchangable and flexible to allow it to cover any problems that may arise to copy as quickly and efficiently as possible.

All the A333 are identical.

All have 33 UCS2 seats
All have 48 premium seats
All have 185 economy seats

The only difference between any of them is that 5 have handsets in economy for IFE and 5 do not and 3 have WIFI.

The three with wifi, are they perchance VKSS, VSXY and VINE as they were the 2-class refitted to 3? And I agree, AFAIK there are no layout differences between them all.
