I'm a lowly white Amex card holder and I know my anniversary is in November some time. How can I check whether I am owed a PE upgrade award? Do I ring FC or MBNA?

I am sure I have spent over £10k on my Amex card, but as the statements combine the Visa card as well it isn't straightforward to check statements. I know many years ago I got the PE upgrade but it took a while to come through, but I've not had anythig for the year up to Nov14

A call is always the best way however it should appear on your Flying Club account balance.
You could try setting the view to "Last 12 months" and going thru the entries.

Have you checked your Flying Club account as that is where the 'voucher' will appear - listed in the transactions so it's not always obvious you have one

Yeah, done that, trawled through the last 12 months activity on my FC account.

Just not sure who to call

A quick phone call should do the job .... They know the split on spending down yo the. Penny and are very helpful

Call the number on the back of your VS amex card, it will connect you to the VS amex team.

It is fairly easy to check the statements if you do it online.
Just go to view statements.
Click on each month in turn.
It will show a summary of how many miles accrued on amex and visa.
The amex miles are one per pound spent.
