Cyprus Airways closes

VS partner Cyprus Airways has closed following EU demand to repay state aid.

It's been on the cards for years , a shame as I had some good flights on them years ago but as with most things in cyprus the figures simply don't add up ,it's a far more corrupt place than people realise

Didn't they recently move to STN and BA bought the LHR slots?

Last slot they held at LHR went to American Airlines for about €30million

4 of the 6 aircraft are now in Wales in Storage, 1 in Beirut and 1 in Larnaca
