putting it here as no VS104 in the itineraries flight dropdown

i was connecting from MCO-ATL DL flight, got the train to international terminal (F)

tried to do a miles upgrade at the VS desk in the terminal, but my company TA ticket was not worthy

had a nice pasta with crusty bread and a glass of wine in the italian restaurant, one of the nicest airport restaurants i've been in

the skyclub was quite crowded, nothing to recommend it beyond the outdoor area for a bit of air, i only spent about 20 minutes in it, didn't even have a drink :0 the snacks looked identical to what i'd seen in MCO skyclub a few hours earlier, to my delight i saw and snaffled an inyt newspaper on the way out, last time i could get a copy was the previous weekend

boarding was smooth, had a couple of bubblies, waited a bit for some pax who i assume were coming from another flight, the captain announced we'd have to wait a bit to avoid arriving at LHR before 0600 but in the end i didn't notice any delay

i was in 25G again, middle seat was empty so had a smidge more room

recognised a couple of the CC, one clearly remembered me too as i was brought a sneaky UC bubbly :)

meal was served about 20 minutes later - choose from beef/chicken/pasta, i had the beef, it was alright, glass of red with it

then i donned eyeshade and earplugs, drifted off after a while and had 4+ hours sleep, semi-woke a couple of times but almost immediately dropped off again

breakfast service woke me, i had the full english but couldn't taste it so gave up

legs felt dead so had a walk up to the doors for a stretch, but i saw the bar was covered in various medical kits and someone was being cared for next to the door, drip and oxygen i think but i only caught a glance before turning away to leave them in peace

captain announced we had priority to land and would everyone stay seated until told so that the paramedics could come onboard to look after the patient, hope they make a swift recovery

short taxi to gate, then a few minutes wait before getting off

i think we were first to land, so no queues at passport control

unlike the outbound trip, not only did my bag arrive with me but it was second on the carousel, so a few minutes later i was on the train

as with the VS103 out, a lot of USA pax, many bearing DL tags, labels etc., there were two sitting across the aisle from me, it was their first flight on VS and they were enjoying it
