Hi all,
I saw and used the "Wonderwall" for first time last night and I have to say pretty good idea VS y)

Think of it as larger snack area you get in the UC bar.
Crew came round and explained to all in PE what it was, what it was for and then kept it stocked. Chips, choc bars, granola, soft drinks etc.

What I was a little shocked about was I took a PE flight out on the same route, same aircraft late Nov and that crew didn't even mention it to anyone in PE!!!

It wasn't mentioned on my flight to BOS as well but a few of us in PE and even UC found it by ourselves.

I think it's important for them to announce though otherwise most people would think it was a pantry for the UC bar.

100% agree, personally I think that adds value to the PE product.
It wasn't or didn't seem to be a case of we have $20 to fill it and then its empty. It was restocked when items run dry. I was encouraged by the cabin supervisor to go up and lead the rush, they were proud of the product.

That reminds me, must send an email, PE CC last night were outstanding. They, for me, got it spot one as far as service went.

This is only on the 787 isn't it?

Yes, they now though have a small basket of similar products in the Premium Galley now.

Whilst it was alluded to in the menu leaflet - along the lines of come and see what treats we have for you in the Galley, the crew were not making a big deal out of this on my recent flight so it was just taken up by those that saw the basket in the galley.

It states in the menu that goodies are available in the galley. Virgin haven't asked the crew to promote it verbally as it is mentioned in the menu and on all aircraft other than the 787 it's just the bowl in the galley.

World Travel Plus customers manage to find the Club World 'Club Kitchen' easy enough on BA! (mainly on Mid-J 747's where WT+ is in front of club.)

Me too! Can't think what it looks like. Surprised no piccies from Virgin, after all the hype about the 787 and the new UC suite.....unless its underwhelming?
