Have seen on GunTree a dodgy Travel Agent is selling access to a corporate code for Instant Silver and Fast Track to Gold for a payment of £75!

Do you think Virgin are aware of this person? Would they monitor a site like Gum Tree like they would eBay?

In the past when I've seen these sorts of things I've emailed VS with a link to the item / post and very shortly they vanish.

Selling corporate codes really is a no-no. I remember a couple of years ago when there was a status offer for members of a particular institute which rapidly spread out. VS eventually withdrew a lot of the status changes because the people weren't members of the organisation in question. Yes it was bad planning by VS in not asking for membership numbers at the start but they did take action. I recall a few v-flyers taking up the offer and then reporting they had been downgraded to their old status.

People like this really do spoil it for everyone else.

Also had a look Paul at some of the other items people were selling from virgin. Old style amenity kits, I must have a draw full here some unopened, (maybe if I hang onto them long enough) I might be able to be rich one day.

Like on one of those antiques roadshows, where they find some old things from the 1800,s so maybe in a 100 years or so. :w

Slightly o/t but whilst I am glad to see from eBay that my collection of CH pens may have some value, I do wonder who would buy this.

Tempting; I might add it to my collection of aluminium foil containers (with 'Chicken' or 'Fish' paper lids and some burned in food debris), plastic spoons and tiny sachets of sugar.
