Check in worries

My son and daughter in law, will be joining us in Orlando after my first week. I am usually the one who does the online check in for us all. But they will be driving up to manchester crown plaza the day before so cannot print off boarding passes. They will be leaving the car in multi car park 2, and I want to know can they do kiosk check in on the way to the hotel, or can they only use this on the day of flight. We have never used them we have never used mobile check in either.

I would think (LGW excepted) that you can only use the on airport check in on the day.

You can still do OLCI to secure your seats and then turn up at the check in desk to have your boarding pass printed. I always do that.

Only at LGW can you check in at the airport the night before, everywhere else it's on the day only.

As stated above, just check in online anytime after T-24, either on the VS website or the app. You can issue your boarding pass then and either have it emailed or texted to your smartphone (no need for a hard copy), or simply pick it up at the airport when you do bag drop.

Correct - If you use the iOS app, you can even get Passbook Boarding Pass downloaded to your phone.

I usually do OLCI straight away and install the BP onto my iPhone and collect another paper BP when I drop my bag off.
