St Lucia

Well, 10 months after booking it, we fly to St Lucia tomorrow morning! That's the good bit. The bad bit is that it is my 40th!

Flying PE and have the V-Room booked so the kids are happy!

Have immense fun. St Lucia is a lovely island. Where are you staying?

Thanks all! We are staying at Coconut Bay. It is on the cheaper Atlantic side of the island. We've been there before. 10 mins from the airport and great staff and facilities!

We spent 3 nights at the Coconut Bay last time - it was wonderful! If you haven't already on your previous visit, make sure you ask for the fresh coconut water at the bars!

Have a great trip & a wonderful 40th birthday celebration, my first ever trip to the Caribbean (Antigua) was for my 40th birthday, that will be 20 years ago this May. The second of my two visits to St Lucia was around 12 years ago, it was around the date of your trip, the UK was covered in snow & it was great to leave the cold weather behind & head off to the sunshine.

I Have been lucky enough to visit twice. Once was on a cricket tour, but on arrival found they had changed the cricket pitch to a football pitch!
It was a few years ago but I do remember a great restaurant called The Coal Pot.

Have a great time! We looked at coconut bay last time we headed to UVF, but in the end settled for Morgan Bay. Got to say that the 10 minute transfer was very appealing.

Might be where we go for our next visit there, once the memories of a week of more or less solid rain last time have faded - just one of those occupational hazards with the caribbean!
