VS018. Off the schedule?

I just booked a flight from Newark > LHR, May 30 - June 17th. Any idea why VS018 isn't available? Is Virgin going to one daily flight from Newark? I called and spoke to reservations, and they were clueless.

Yes, DL are taking over the VS18 (and retiming it as a night flight) as part of the network changes announced last year. There'll be a fifth daily JFK rotation instead.

That's too bad - I prefer daytime flights. Only option is JFK now, which is $1000/roundtrip pricier for PE on the same days. I'll deal with the jetlag for that price :-)
