Well it wound me up suggesting I was being a dick.
Then I realised I am.

Dick D :)

lol lol
I think that the responses from the v-flyers on here show just how nice a place v-flyer is. I know others will agree that since joining I have learnt so much that has helped me to score the ever illusive Gs, I think I have also been able to share some nickels worth of free advice and I have made friends and am looking forward to meeting more of you at the next v-flyer social.

Oh grow up. Do your research properly and then you won't appear to be a numbskull when you post.

OOPS I'm going to get told off :( .

Oh there's a fine line between Troll and Idiot.

I think V-Flyers have excellent themselves with their responses to a very 'strange' :w thread, but let's remain polite throughout please.

Now that I can't fly with them, I have to download movies onto my laptop which only lasts like 3 hours. I don't even know if other airlines have chargers or anything! This is a huge change for me and being dicks about it isn't helping!

I am still very confused.

So, do you also choose which restaurants to eat at based on Virgin's in-flight menu?

I just mean I don't want to end up watching the same movie twice.

Let me get this right: a new film is released, or a film you might like to watch comes up on Netflix etc.; basically any film, right?

And the very first thing you do, before watching it, is check whether it's showing in-flight on Virgin Atlantic?

In that case, well, yes, I imagine that is now a problem as there are precisely no films being shown in-flight on the VS NRT-LHR route. On the other hand, though, you can now safely watch any film you want elsewhere knowing that you won't have to watch it twice on account of it being shown on your VS flight.

So, sitting back from the heat of the situation for a moment, I reckon - purely in terms of your cinephile tendencies - this is a "six of one, half a dozen of the other" situation.

Wow, very surprised to see this thread still going strong..!

I post on one other forum, this would have been locked and the user thoroughly abused by now - V-Flyer is a very nice place.

On topic, Blobb - tell us more about your flying patterns and people may be able to help. How often do you use this route - and what are you looking for in an airline...?

Maybe not a troll or idiot but an "Unfortunate" ? He seemed to think on another earlier thread that BA was useless as it only had four films showing on its flights.

While some of their Club screens are inferior to Virgins, I can say their IFE is certainly sufficient, and perhaps better than Virgins. I'd certainly not dismiss BA as useless...

If it was April 1st - yes I would agree :D

Unfortunately I believe this person has come onto the forum with the aim of being antagonistic v( However as usual v-flyer members have tried to be understanding, be tolerate, be patient and importantly not responded in an argumentive matter y)

I don't think there was a question.... I think it was just a statement - summed up in a post they made early on..

Panshanger aerodrome would handy for us RC :o)

Lord no, that's still a good taxi ride away from me (although I might be persuaded if they had limo service and DTCI...). In any case, the aerodrome has been mothballed pending an attempt to sell it off to build yet another high density housing estate. Pity, as the firework displays were always quite good in the past.

I was actually thinking they could land in the woodland behind my house. Might mean felling a few ancient oak trees to make room for a landing strip, but as HAL would no doubt say... that's the price of progress?

BTW, what was this thread all about again? :o)

Boycotting VS because BA only showed 4 films on a route that Virgin America never flew in the first place. :o) :o)

I know I keep getting posts deleted on FT for saying things like "you are posting late on a school night", and "is there a grown-up that you could ask to help you". It's nice to see that sort of thing hasn't happened here and what a friendly welcome and a lot of patience has been shown.

Silver Fox you disappoint me --- I thought this topic was primed for you --- I still look back at your "ugly check" comment of possibly the best post of 2014 [2 ladies looking for clubhouse passes] --- you really must try harder! :D
