Hi Jules,

Unfortunately the 747's only have a 14 seat UC so the chances of you getting one upgrade is slim but four no chance. You are also flying in the peak season so demand will probably be high. Also if you have a K ticket they are not upgradable you will need an S or W.

I will never say never as I myself and hubby have just managed to get 2 x G's to Vegas in 3 weeks time and as yet there are only four of us with selected seats. do you know how to search for reward availability on the VS website?

Did you say you only have 2k in miles as it would be 25,000 each for an upgrade each way. Good luck y)

As you booked via a TA you will have to contact them to upgrade and it will have to be a cash upgrade not using miles.

You'd need 12.5k miles to upgrade one way LAS/LGW (ditto for CUN-LGW) so 25k miles per person per round trip.

But the issue you will have is that there are only 14 seats in UC on the LGW 747 fleet and both your routes are pretty popular so getting upgrade availability will be hard.

The VS website suggests there are only 4 UC tickets still for sale on your outbound flight so if you want them you'll need to call your TA but you're looking at several thousand pounds (potentially 5 figures) for 4 of you as the current UC return fare is £3,263 per person.
