Where doesn't Virgin fly to anymore? I swear some routes have been closed randomly, like JFK. There's also way less available routes than I remember and as far as I can tell, VS only flies to:
Newark
Orlando
Cape Town
LA
Miami
San Fransisco
Barbados
Sydney
Shanghai
Delhi

Most of the shorter routes have VERA Touch and the longer routes get stuck with Reel and On Demand, even though it should be the other way around.

Confused. You titled this as a list of places that VS *don't* fly to, but then put a list of places where they do?
Either way, the list you have of current destinations is missing quite a few...

Try here for a start - while many routes have been cut over the years, they still have a wide spread still operating:

(And Sydney, which is on your list, was axed a while back :( )

I can think of boston,Washington ,Antigua , St Lucia and Jamaica without looking at a route map as other places VS still flies to that you haven't mentioned not to mention that they obviously still go to jfk .
What are you trying to achieve with your posts ?

Amazing - lets see if we can get this to 4 pages again...!

On a serious note Blob55 - what is your point here mate, we all know where VS do and indeed don't fly. How you can say they don't fly to JFK shows that you really don't know a lot about VS and its routes.

Just out of interest, how often do you fly - where to and who with (carrier, I don't mean your parents)...

It could run to four pages if we took it a step further and started listing all the places VS doesn't fly to ( never mind if VS never flew there anyway).

Blob: on another thread, we're starting a band. Actually more of a collective (provisionally titled The G-Spots, or V-BAND).

Anyway, I think we need a troll-like character in the background, sort of running around bashing a tambourine now and then. Fancy the job?

Cheeky!

If Air Force One can land there then VS can manage!

And concorde visited a couple of times as well

Ahh Blob55 is back. Hows the VS embargo going? I hope you managed to glean some good information and advice from your previous thread.

That is an odd list and, as others have pointed out, it is unfortunately wildly lacking in accuracy. Where did you 'figure' it from? The best bet would be to have a look at the VS route maps on their website then raise routes that you think have been sadly lost to the footnotes of time.

Speaking of, which routes do people miss the most at the moment?

I def miss the HKG - SYD route, it was amongst the first I travelled solo on the VS network ... ah a different time :#

The Mauritius route sounded a hoot too :P

+1 to HKG-SYD (although it did force me to cash-in all my KE miles - which are valid for ten years, ahem VS - and fly to SYD in F on an A380 via ICN).

Also sorely missing NRT, especially the staff and and CH.
