I booked 2 economy seats through Expedia today and have confirmation numbers etc. However when I try to search for flight VS115 there is no reference to it on Virgin's website.

Likewise, neither my booking reference or ticket number can be found.

Interestingly, I can locate my booking via Delta's website, as my connecting flight to Florida is with them.

Delta's website shows the VS flight as an A330, but confusingly Expedia lists our seat numbers as 28C & 28D. Unless I'm missing something, none of Virgin's fleet have a row 28 with a C & D seat.

Can anyone throw some light on the subject?

The VS115 service doesn't kick off until 29 March 2015; I will anticipate that your booking reference will show positive on the VS website after 28 February.

I think your comment on the VS seat availability is correct; I guess that you may be on a Delta aircraft or the actual airframe is not yet designated?

It can sometimes take a day or two for travel agent bookings to show up on the VS system so I wouldn't worry too much.

Those seat numbers are also likely to change too. I'm not sure how expedia handles seats now that VS charges for advance selection.
