Hi all,

Has anyone travelled on SAS using Flying Club as their reward scheme?

In short, I'm trying to determine if what SAS market as "SAS Plus" qualifies as a business class fare and therefore gets the appropriate mileage and TP rewards.

I also don't see an option for selecting FC as your mileage program, the VS site clarifies this, so again if anyone has experience of this, do SAS accept FC membership cards at checkin?

In my case, I'm travelling LHR to CPH, so only a short-haul route.

Thanks in advance!

Rich

Who are you booking with Rich - I am flying with them via Expedia (shops away bonus too!). You can enter it on the booking on there...

Also, if anyone has done this I would be keen to hear how it works....

I do remember reading somewhere that you can't enter your VS FC number onto a SAS booking yourself but you have to present your FC Card at check-in and the agent will add your number to the booking.

No TPs on SAS. As has been said you need to present your FC card at check in or email your boarding pass and eticket to VS after flying as I did recently. I doubt SAS plus counts as business but could be wrong

Ah, that's a shame. I ended up making the booking on Expedia in the end, and it seemed to register my FF number, but not so much that it was associated with Flying Club... bit odd. Will do my card at checkin anyhow.

The reason I mention TPs is that I thought it would be covered under "All other partner airlines" in the TP earning page?

As far as whether it qualifies, my booking is in A class which seems to correspond to Business class on the SAS earning page. We'll have to see I suppose. :)

I travel frequently on Singapore and I usually have to ask FC, on phone or on appropriate form, for the TP. I'm pretty sure that you can get TP on SAS on relevant flights. As said, under "other partners"
