Flying out of South Terminal at Gatwick in mid March and we have the option of using either the Aspire Lounge or the No 1 Traveller Lounge. Any views on which is the best? PS not expecting a CH!
No.1 by a country mile. Prebook if you can though as it fills up quickly and they often turn away PP etc.
Another vote for the No1 Lounge y)

Numero Uno.
It was like that when I got here, Sir!
Another vote for No1
Upstairs on one of the big leather chesterfields is a very comfortable way to spend an hour of two.
Agree with booking early, it is also cheaper. And I think you can book through the Virgin Shopping channel and get a few miles into the bargain.(need to check that)
Yep just checked earn up to 750 miles through Virgin.

Yet another clear vote for the No.1....going to be there this Friday in fact y)
The only way is left....since I found V-Flyer

Don't go near the Aspire lounge. Used it last month and it was dreadful.
It was a waste of money, cold dry bacon rolls were the only 'hot' breakfast offer and the tables and chairs were packed close together
We would have been better off in the main terminal.

Thanks for the replies, looks like No 1 Lounge for me
Massages at the No 1 lounge are great too.
A purple boarding card, pre-booked cowshed treatment, glass of T10 with lime, a proper amenity kit, packet of polos and a Freedom Menu please!

Why do people love the number 1's. When we were there at Gatwick last year, half of it was reserved for the 2 hours in there, making a lack of space.
I know in Birmingham Airport, I take the Aspire, mainly because of the self serve at the bar. The number 1 always takes 5 minutes for someone to appear at the bar, and serve you (often a short measure too). They do have a bit of pasta and nicer cakes. So I guess that's what people might prefer...
Still, having half the lounge reserved made sure that I don't prefer them....
