First and sadly probably last round trip on Little Red. A short notice flying visit to Edinburgh for Scotland v Italy rugby. This reports covers up and back. Booked the return flights the previous week using miles via website - quick and easy I have to say. Checked in online and hand luggage only so on arriving at LHR we had no need to meet any ground crew hence a neutral 4 as a rating. Flight was slick and swift. Both flights at least 75% full and closer to 80% I think - not bad for Sat and Sun? Thought seats were great for a domestic flight and crews worked hard on both flights and delivered service with a smile. My one gripe (rant on) - the hand luggage - OMG I have never known it take so long to board such a small aircraft (it's all relative and yes I have done a Montego Bay flight). I know we only had small rucksacks (as I say it was a flying visit) but it was frankly ridiculous (IMHO) that people were allowed to take on the amount and size of hand luggage that they did. On return one of CC said as much when we shared a few wry smiles at the door

I suspect that what my fellow travellers thought they gained by not waiting for baggage reclaim on arrival was lost by the time we lost on boarding for both flights. Rant off!! I loved LR, shame it is going ,everything I wanted from a domestic flight - comfy seat, on time dep and arr, friendly crew. Oh and the views of London when we flew back into LHR on 1 Mar were awesome. Britain lucky to have such a great skyline to welcome visitors
