Seats in "Bubble"

Hi, it's me again

I would be looking to book exit seats in the bubble if I could get them but if not, which exit seats are next best?

Also, which are the best Premium Economy seats in the bubble? I know I probable won't be able to book front row but what about the back rows (4 adults) or are there any better ones downstairs

As you can see, I "need" to be well prepared for flight release

I would personally go for the Exit Rows by the main L2 door. If you can't get those, then any other seat upstairs would be my next choice.

Haven't flown PE upstairs on the new config, I think the general consensus is that Row 19 downstairs is the best (A&C) and then row 18 A&C also.

None of us have ever travelled long haul in "normal" economy, we always try to upgrade but failing that, go for exit/extra legroom so this is very useful

Just looking at the seat map, as there are 4 of us and its a 3 4 3 config,would you advise 2 exit positions? We don't really mind being split although we would prefer to be near each other

If you're wanting to fly upstairs then you have two real options.

Option 1) a row of 3 and one across the aisle. The benefit of this is that you only have a 'stranger' sat next to one of your party and also using 3, you get the benefit of the window storage bins upstairs which are really handy for putting things on and giving you some extra space.

Option 2) 2 sets of 2 either side of the aisle. The benefit of this is that one of your party isn't sat 'on their own' and also there is a chance that because you are leaving just one seat by the window free it might deter people from selecting it meaning if the flight isn't full you could have a spare seat next to you. Of course, that is by no means a certainty.

Do remember, so select your seats in advance it is £25pp for standard seats and £35pp for exit rows/extra leg room ones.

Personally, I would say a standard seat in the bubble.
I think it just makes the overall flight a much more pleasant experience.
We have flown Y upstairs a couple of times and always have had a wonder round the main cabin, and always been relieved when heading back upstairs.

Of course, if you are very tall or struggle with a more confined space, then maybe the extra legroom seat would be the better option for you.

I would agree with row 19 if you are PE. You are literally first off the plane and have no one tapping the back of your seat.

Was in the bubble once in PE and did enjoy it. Im more horizontally challenged than verticle and as there is no change in the seat width think I will stick with upstairs. At the moment there is no one in the middle seat and the loads are quite light, but a month to go yet.
