Virgin's Personal Electronics Policy

Hi everyone, I realise this has probably been discussed previously but using the search, I can't find anything definitive.

My beautiful lady has given me a PSP for Christmas and I was hoping to use it on our flight in June. However, I have a niggling thought that because the PSP has WiFi capability, will this be banned aboard Virgin aircraft (I know Virgin is particularly strict, even on "flight mode" phones)?

I know that there are a few Virgin cabin crew that post on here and I'd love their input on this. Also, if anyone else can shed some light, I'd be grateful. Rather ask here than ask someone with no clue on the end of a phone!

I did read throught that thread but I'm still in two minds. Perhaps the thought lingers that Virgin offer a power lead to various laptops in UCS which may or may not have in built WiFi technology. Now, surely, that's contravention of their own policy if they're encouraging the use of the laptop which technically is a "two-way communications device" with the WiFi enabled.

I guess the real question here is, does Virgin view WiFi devices as prohibited for use on flights?

I used my PSP for a couple of hours in full view of the IFAs last week on the way to EWR.

No problems at all. As KKempton said Just don't turn WiFi on.
