My mums on that flight, just got back from dropping her off...she's flying on her own out there for the 1st time as I didn't fancy going this year. Shes also in PE.

Yes we got the upgrade at the airport. We were originally booked in PE with miles plus money. Went to the posh Upper area on the left and saw an agent immediately. He confirmed that there were two seats left on VS15 and told us to go to the upgrade desk. Went over there and was told that as we wanted to upgrade with miles we needed to go to a desk almost art the end next to the Virgin holiday desk. Had to queue and had visions of the upgrades disappearing. Eventually got seen by a fantastic agent called C******* who did the deal for us a apologising profusely for taking so long to do it. Some miles and some cash later we had the new boarding cards seq 202 and 203! Through the premium security and off to the Clubhouse.
