I still haven't tried 9A but keep getting told to so so....I do prefer 3 or 4 K it must be said though and of course for BGI very useful to leave ahead of those using L2.

Im just off an a330 (waiting in ATL for my connection).

I was in 3K which was fine.

Although the whole cabin feels quite cramped, so no seat stands out as anything super...

I think i'd definitely want a window seat, rather than the odd overlapping herringbone squash of the middle seats.

A or K. Middle seats are substantially shorter. Not an issue perhaps on a day flight but nonetheless I want as much as I've paid for, or more.

Another vote for 8A

Although close to the bar, it is a little more private than most of the suites

We are currently booked in 7a and 8a on our flight to ORD. Being a morning flight, quite happy to be near the bar ;), but I did wonder whether we should book 8a and 9a, or is 9a a bit too close to the bar?

I may be wrong but believe that 9A has no window.

I'm not too fussed about a window view - I don't think it's very easy looking out anyway. The only 'cons' probably are that it is too close the bar and it looks quite dark in that corner.
I wanted to have another look on the Virgin website - they did a 'Tour' of the new Upper Class Suite, but for some reason it has been taken off and reverts to the previous UC cabin ?|
(Perhaps they are going to change/modify it)

9A is my favourite seat on the A333. It's less ooverlooked, slightly wider and suffered less toilet traffic! Of course it's near to the bar but that has never caused a problem, I've never encountered any overnight rowdiness. No window but I would just hop into the other-half's suite 8a if there was something worth seeing :)

Thanks people, I've gone for 8A. Wanted to be on the left as best view of island coming in to land, was just worried about bar traffic as was in 4a last time.
