Have Virgin removed the English Sparking wine from the 787's? I ask as i have seen they have updated the website with the new Champagne brand:

There is no caveat stating that 787 would be any different? (Plus the photo is on a 787...)

no it is still the cheap English wine - but not so bad after a couple of glasses.
Not so appealing to look at - remind me of when I was in hospital !

I *think* VS have also got rid of those silly boob glasses as well now...well at least I never saw any sign of them on my recent 789 J flights.

Fortunately the Clubhouse still serves Lanson

Could not agree more - the new "champagne" is, to put it politely, crap.

We had "normal" champagne glasses a week ago. The "boob" glasses must have been useless in turbulence - the contents would have gone everywhere.

Another vote for buns's view, the Gardet really is awful. I left mine, which is unheard of. Also agree about the boob glasses, useless - they disperse the bubbles instead of conserving them.
