Does anyone know if VS027 has been cancelled or something on the 16th Jan '06?
We were booked on this flight, but having checked our booking online, we're now on VS015 for some reason; heard nothing from Virgin about this, so just wondering what is going on, and am I going to be able to have an extra hour in bed that morning, now we're apparently on a later flight...

Hi Jad,

I'm going to move this from the Manchester forum, into General, as it relates to a LGW flight.

A search on expertflyer.com reveals only 1 flight for that date, whereas the VS27 shows up for 15th and 17th:

Flight Availability - LGW to MCO - 16/01/06

Airline Flight Stops Departure Arrival Aircraft Meal Available Classes

VS Site doesn't come up with VS027 as a bookable option either. Odd as that flight is supposed to be daily. I guess VS015 is only a little while later so it is not a massive inconvenience, especially as it gives you 40 more winks[|)]. Still it would have been good to have known (although to be fair they may have only just changed it, and the notice is winging its way to you as we speak).

Is that a Tuesday by chance ?

If so last March I came back on a Tuesday from Orlando and the same thing happened to me.

There was only one flight.

This might be something similar to what happened this Sept. VA cancelled the 27/28 flights for best part of the month. I wondered then if it was over stretching of A/C with all the new routes or just lack of bookings?

Here we go again.. FYI my VS27 flight was canx in September. At check-in the family ahead of us did not know the flight had been canx and they had been moved to the VS16[V]

Sounds familiar, I only found out our VS27/28 flights were cancelled when I came to check our seats onthe seat plan! VH finally got around to telling us 3 weeks before we went!

Just a tiny update to this; received our tickets yesterday, showing that we are now on 15 rather than 27...still not actually been told about the change by VH yet; wonder if they'll ever get round to telling us, or if they just assume that we'll spot the change on our tickets.

I think there will be a note on your booking so they can tell you if you call, but I doubt at this stage if they will proactively call you. Same thing has happened to me on one of my flights to MCO this year. Already had my rant about that! - Still looks as though I will be in MCO around the same time as you.
