Hello from the LHR clubhouse !

Thanks to hubby being gold we enjoyed a very swift journey from checkin to lounge. I love the 'secret' door after exiting the lift
We had to pay £15 for our 7 year old to get in the clubhouse - bargain
Was fairly quiet when we arrived but now quite busy. Tapas consumed, one cocktail down and about to order another. Might even manage chocolate fondant for pud. Happy days !
There really isn't a better way to start the holidays

Great flight, loving Dubai and the Hilton is fab. We are currently sitting in the exec lounge making use of free wifi and happy hour

Very hot here but the aircon in the Dubail mall today was very welcome. We watched the fountains twice.
Off for a desert safari tomorrow at 7.30am.
