We had booked parking in T3 short stay, I got a good deal a couple of months ago for our 10 day stay. Beats having to battle with luggage on the bus, or handing over the keys to our lovely cars to a complete stranger!

We arrived at the checkin area and were dealt with promptly by a lady at the UC desk. All fine but no mention of use of UC security channel or CH (my husband is FC gold). I had to ask and we were directed to the lift. We were through security and by the CH within a couple of minutes. The lady at the said we would have to ay £15 for our son to enter with us, a bargain in our eyes.

We grabbed some seats over by the windows, shame the view is blocked though.
It took a while to get someone's attention but eventually we ordered some drinks, tapas and pasta for our son. It was all delicious.

Neither of us wanted treatments so we just relaxed, ordered some more drinks and puddings and passed away a pleasant couple of hours.
We went down to the gate on the 2nd call and most of the other passengers had already boarded.
We settled into our seats and waiting seconds were offered drinks :)
I won't go into too much detail, but it was a great flight. Entertainment was good, cabin crew were attentive.
My husband was warmly welcomed back and was asked if his seat was ok. The cabin was not full and we were asked if we wanted to move to the 3 middle seats. I explained that our son loves a window seat so no thank you.
We had eaten lots in the CH so I didn't have any food onboard.
Our son had a small bout of air sickness before landing and the crew helped us out brilliantly offering wipes, bin bag etc
They were great with him and eased the stress. Luckily I am always prepared with spare clothes etc !

We arrived in DXB on time and luggage was quick to appear.
We were breakfasting at the Hilton Dubai Creek exec lounge by 10am ^) ^)

Thank you for your TR. Great to hear of another good flight. I was particularly interested that the CC were helpful over your son's sickness bout as another TR had the opposite !

Yes I saw that hiljil, I do have to add though we disposed of the sick bag ourselves in the toilet bin ! We were happy to do so though...
