.... Or greetings from the DL sky club Boston.

Today's fine breakfast selection includes some fruit juices, a coffee warmer that attacked me and porridge that looks like it has been sitting there for a week.

The container holding what I believe was once fruit salad only contains the liquified remnants of some melon and there is no milk... Just tiny containers of half and half.

Well I was content with a toasted bagel... Ahh they appear to have been cut by Edward Scissorhands. How the hell is this mess going to toast evenly.. ii)

As a mental note, don't ask for a bread knife in an airport lounge, you will be looked at as though you have suddenly asked for their kidney. On a plus point the wifi is working well and the cranapple juice is quite nice.

Does anyone have experience of the TSA pre check lines? As I was using the sky priority channel I was directed into these lines and it is so convenient. No undressing in front of strangers, no unpacking and re packing of the bags.. it's a simple bag scan and go. y) Am I correct in saying this is normally only open to U.S. citizens?

Hope all have a good Tuesday, I'm on my way to JFK to hop the VS46 home. I wonder if I will be able to sneak into the DL Skyclub at jfk too :P

I love TSA PreCheck (open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents). I'm a huge, huge fan.

It's the one big advantage flying DL ex-JFK has over VS UC. Even if you are cleared for TSA PreCheck, VS does not have an arrangement with the TSA, so if flying VS metal, you won't qualify. Really annoying.

I did a double-lounging at JFK not too long ago. If you do the same, make sure the order is Sky Club followed by Clubhouse, though. I did it the other way around and thought I'd died and gone to hell when I left the CH for the Sky Club.

Enjoy!

Ah TSA Pre is great! Gone through once in Vegas when it was the only two lanes open (was very quiet, had checked in around 45mins before the BA flight)
So much nicer as you say!

Have a safe and enjoyable trip home!

US domestic lounge mate.. not expecting miracles, some food might be nice though.

They've just put the 'lunch' buffet out... two types of soup (no labels and the staff were guessing y) ) a couple of salads, yoghurt, celery & carrot sticks and some crisps.

Cheers NYLON I will be double lounging at JFK as my flight gets in before the VS CH opens and my bag is checked all the way through to LHR.. looks like I'll get to experience the Jitney 8D

But neither does BA. Or LH or AF or any of the ME3 ...

The only non-US airline that has it is AC and that's really that's just because of the huge market between the two countries.

I just mean I think it's a fairly major thing DL has over VS now that the tie-up has resulted in a merged check-in experience ex-JFK.

You can't sign up for PreCheck itself unless you're a U.S. citizen/resident - but foreigners can get access as part of Global Entry, which includes UK citizens if you happen to have got into the trials.

I'm a UK citizen, don't have Global Entry, but still somehow got TSA pre for a flight last year from EWR to RSW, so perhaps it's a bit more random than US citizens, Permanent Residents and GE? ?|

Sometimes, they will put non-TSA pre passengers through the TSA pre lanes.
As I said above, in Vegas I got sent to the TSA pre line, it was the only line open in that section of security.
