Don't know if this is because our tickets were booked via Expedia (part of an ex-DUB trip), but the VS iPhone app would not allow me to check in for tomorrow's flight, even logged into my FC account.

So I quickly went through the mobile website, no problems. Go figure?

Got one mild shock, at end of check-in before issuing boarding passes there was a message that we'd been moved from our seats but had been moved to a similar seat. My heart sank as I put us in 12A&K months ago, but when I checked we were still in those seats with few seats now left in UC, so issued boarding cards which still say 12A&K. I can't work that conundrum out.

If we get moved tomorrow for "operational reasons" or because of a fault I'll be disappointed but ok, but if we get moved so someone else can have the seats I think I might have a drag queen sized hissy fit! (I'll try to be good).

Apologies dear lady HL. Darren you heifer.

Well here I am in DUB T1 in the lounge. Just arrived. Thought we'd have plenty of time since there were 2 hrs 25 mins between flights. But no, the Aer Lingus flight was delayed by 45 minutes and on arrival with 2 flights coming in at the same time the Garda only have 2 desks open to deal with passport control, and one of them was taking twice as long as t'other since he was scrutinising everyone. So we've run through to T1 and through security with an hour to go and got to the lounge.

A quick espresso followed by chocolate muffin followed swiftly by a G&T, hallelujah! I thought my ex-DUB was about to go t*ts up ;)

Still, I've got dinner at the Radisson to look forward to, had a great lobster last night, think we might room service tonight.

Roll on tomorrow when I'm trying DTCI with Uber :)

Since I told you off for calling ultreen a cow, I can't really use a naughty word, so you'll just have to imagine one because earlier today I was in the vicinity of Dublin Airport - in fact in one of the hotels, and if I had known you were flying in, I would have delayed my departure to the "real" capital of Ireland to say hello! Bless you dear lady that would have been wonderful, but given our late arrival I think it would have been a quick say hello wave goodbye!

And by real capital do you mean Cork?
