Just got back from the UK, traveling with an elderly relative. The cabin crew was excellent, even bringing her an Upper Class amenity kit as she asked for a pen (we were in PE), and just treating her with a sense of respect.

We were about an hour late taking off, and the Flight Service Manager personally shook everyone's hand in PE after we took off, apologizing for the delay. Really nice touch.

Where's the best place to send my positive comments? I want to make sure the crew gets the credit they deserve, and especially want to talk about our flight attendant.

That was good to hear and do acknowledge this as we all love a bit of praise every now and then :)

There is no need for a snarky response. I know, as well as most people do, that there are usually more specific email addresses that go directly to decision-makers, or people who actually will utilize the information. General addresses (such as your useless "LMGTFY" link provided) are usually no better than sending a letter into a black hole.

Oh, and maybe this will help:

I am sorry you have turned what I thought was a humerous reply into an unpleasant retort.
This is a friendly forum where we help each other out, along with a few please's and thank you's when people repy. You clearly took this the wrong way and I am sorry you seem so outraged by my reply.
I will leave it it at that as I have no intention of engaing in a tit for tat.

I have used this form on the website before and have had a human respond saying they really enjoyed hearing my experience (it was an amusing one, well I thought so) and that my thanks had been passed to the CC.

On all the VS flights I have been on in the recent years the crew have been fantastic and I really missed that when I flew with the "other" airline recently. In fairness one of the CC in particular was awesome but just missed VS.

It took probably about a month for them to reply to a recent email I sent them with good feedback. It was nice to get the acknowledgement in the end, but in truth I imagine that good feedback emails aren't very high on the priority for replying.
I suppose if you're not requesting anything or there's nothing urgent that needs addressing, there won't be much rush to reply to you!
