Here is all the Info anyone will need about the new 3 part series. Some very interesting comments. For example I had no Idea that it cost £100,000 per seat for an upperclass suite to make it. If you asked me it does not look like its £100,000 :)

The modest £12,500 starting salary

Modest?

Understatement of the year!

[Maximus shelves his idea to join Virgin's Cabin Crew  ]

I'm wondering if it will be shown in Scotland as the recent Heathrow one wasn't shown. Never mind these are the days of multi-channel TV and Internet streaming, will see it one way or another.

Good PR for Virgin. Not like that EasyJet doc from years back where it was mostly people complaining at the check in desk!

The enthusiasm of the new recruits, the attention to detail in the manufacture of the seats and the genuine love the staff have for the brand. Sure they were all clapping at the end while watching in The Base tonight.

I wasn't aware that any aircraft had airbag seatbelt straps in PE (as stated by the 787 engineer ) ?.
Nice to see Katrine (an older cabin crew person) getting through her training too :-D .What's with the ridiculous hairpieces though.?

The airbag was kind of a necessity because of the angle of the seats, and also why you can take off and land in reclined position.

Indeed. Huge free publicity, potentially thousands of new customers, many ready to book flights and what happens? Their IT lets them down (again). They really must make improving it an urgent priority, and that's where being 49% owned by Delta could play to their advantage.
