In the JFK Clubhouse :-O

Burger however was very nice. Getting to JFK was not and I will stick with EWR in future as traffic aside I'm not over awed with the CH here

Last minute aircraft change means I don't get the 747 nose experience as now on an A346. Shame it's not Ruby Murray again as have to say I rather liked the 787 especially being on its third passenger flight meant everything was still new and shiny

I do prefer the JFK CH over the EWR CH, as it is a nice airy space and the staff there are fantastic.

YMMV though depending on what you look for in a lounge experience, and how well you know the staff at either :-P

Hope you enjoyed your time there, lack of Lanson aside, and had a great flight back to Blighty.

True it's a nice airy space but they were clear,y having staff issues when I was there as a guy that sat next to me ordered food and a cocktail and although his food arrived he never got his Manhattan.

I moved to a different spot after a while as was getting cold under the AC vent by the window and encountered another guest who was complaining as hadn't received their order.

Flight back was good though after a delay with a sick passenger and bags getting offloaded then the tug breaking after pushing back. There were issues in the EC cabin with passengers leaving their seats as the captain made an announcement he would go back on stand of they didn't take their seats.

Great crew though, and didn't get much sleep as after one of the best beef mains ever onboard ended up chatting with crew at the bar in between watching Chappie

Let's hope my next night flight lives up to that as they don't always

Glad all went well with flight. I watched chappie on recent flight, found it very interesting when looking beyond the surface stuff.

Now, did the beef main happen to be the new beef short rib with wasabi mash? I had that on flight back from SFO and would say it was one of the best beef dishes I've had on a flight.

Well they have it on offer at Sainsbury at the moment for £22 with a snazzy Wimbledon Jacket.
I couldn't resist one this morning.

No, it wasn't that beef. Can't remember what it was but it was a fillet of beef dish.
