Indeed. Huge free publicity, potentially thousands of new customers, many ready to book flights and what happens? Their IT lets them down (again). They really must make improving it an urgent priority, and that's where being 49% owned by Delta could play to their advantage.

It's back up... I'm sure they put in place contingency plans as do many companies with websites that have sales, publicity etc but most still suffer outage

A really enjoyable programme and I look forward to next weeks view on The Clubhouse.

Two things that did surprise me, the cost of using a toilet, who knew loos cost so much and how Virgin like to rename things I.e. Colours. With that in mind I will now rename the adhesive patch I've had to keep my tray table in the locked position as Terry, Terry Tape.

Im not sure it shows that, i think it shows how much better the producers are at making a watchable program :P

On a separate note I see it has "kick off" on The Dibb regarding the fact that airbags are only fitted in UC

Airbag seat belts are on all UC seats, PE seats except the front row on the A330s (not on 747s, 787s or A346s) and on all bulkhead and exit rows in economy on the A346s only.

I've just seem the who-ha on the Dibb...silly really.

I'm looking forward to next week tho...Simon shot out of his seat when he saw the "ball" from the upperclass wing!!!

Yes I know but I'm not sure they are willing to listen , the OP has stated that it's a "class" issue and a few members are outraged that UC get additional safety features (without knowing the facts), as Ultreen1 says "silly really"

Having worked at a company which was also subject to a 'Fly on the Wall' documentary, it's becomes bonkers busy.
There will not be thousands of new customers because of the documentary, just lots of web visitors.

The new customers are more of drip feed...

Just watched it on the ITV player (via a VPN), I really enjoyed it and thought it was really well done and just confirms why I absolutely love flying VS

I really enjoyed it - it was well put together, and showed some really interesting things. It was also excellent PR for VS.

Also enjoyed it and seeing the enthusiasm of all workers especially knowing of the great holiday perk of discounted tickets and possible upgrades

Really enjoyed the programme, good mix of fun and interesting look at some of the technical side. Seat construction and a view inside the Boeing factory my favourites. How chaotic was the galley area during the turbulence. As already said good to see a more mature person in the cc role. Looking forward to the clubhouse coverage next week, hope it's not all Heathrow.

Great watch, our 7 year old is eager to watch it with me after school. I don't remember any 'adult' content so happy for him to see it.
Loved Katrine. When we flew back from DXB there was a CC in PE that was very chatty.
She mentioned that she was early 5os and used to work for VS on the ground.
It's great to see a more mature CC, with more life experience .
Makes me feel a bit better too as it's very hard to look young and glamorous on an overnight flight

I agree with the positive comments, it was a great programme for VS.

They came across absolutely light years better than BA in the BBC series. No HR 'snapshots', no sobbing new recruits being kicked out of the office for failing cabin crew selection, and no ridiculous management BS.

I really enjoyed it too, though found it hard to get sound level right, sometimes couldn't hear what was being said. I wonder why VS seem to require female CC to have an up-do? Katrine's hair wasn't long enough so a forest of pins and grips. She was just brilliant, definitely had that sparkle that sets Virgin apart from the opposition.
