Was fortunate to get a ride on G-JOEY last August ACI-SOU and one of the sister ships GCI- ACI the previous day. Supposedly it was imminently to be retired then. Last trip for my Jersey native Hubby and MIL. Seemed to take absolutely ages compared to SOU-JER on Flybe's Q400! Sadly the trip was mostly in cloud with occasional glimpses of the Channel not so far below. Slightly frustrating that we still had to do the seemingly excessively long downwind out to Winchester and back on approach to SOU - you get abeam the runway threshold and expect to just circle in like at Alderney. Fun flight - but never again!
