The last time I flew from LHR, (admittedly a few years ago), I received an email the day before offering me the chance to use the UC wing with a link to Addison Lee to book a car.

This was before the wing was opened up to all UC passengers.

Does anyone know if you still get the email with the link in or has that been replaced by the telephone number in manage your booking ?

Hi David,

I got an sms or mail when we were flying out thru LHR in April, just had to advise them in advance of the registration of the taxi.

We used uber. We advised the upper desk we would supply number plate on day but preregistered everything else a day before. As soon as uber driver was confirmed en route and we had registration and name we called vs to confirm at 6:45am. Then driver took us in. Simple. Uber does make the process a little nicer than a black cab as you don't have to call the wing in the car.

You don't need to wait for the email anymore, you can confirm at any time from your booking if you want to use the wing.

No, you can book any time from making your booking now.
