How the hell are you meant to get someone authorised when you can't even get through to VA??!!

Over the last week, I have spent several hours plunged into the telephonic abyss of vaff music and messages telling me I can do almost everything on the web site - I think not.

Does anyone know if there is a way to authorise someone to use your VA miles from within the manage my account section of the website?

I think you need to speak to them on the telephone to do this. But have to say whenever I have called the Flying Club they have always answered very quickly. Are you calling the Flying Club rather than the generic Virgin Atlantic muber?

You have to call VS.

Well the person who wants you to have access to their account has to call and authorise it.

Hi - I've been trying the FC number as shown on the VA website - 0344 412 2414 - without success!!!! Appreciate that it is my wife who has to authorise this, but have been trying to make the initial contact with the FC with her next to me ready to speak with them.

And just like an IT problem at work, as soon as I try and find out a way around the problem, I finally make contact with VA - only a week, but at least it's sorted out for when I will be booking in a few days time!!!

Rant over - night all!!!!
