Hi
Anyone had an issue with Virgin America? Purchased 2 tickets on the 12th Card was auth as normal, and Virgin claimed the funds 2 days later, all good except the Auth has not dropped off the card, So they are still holding £400 of my money in limbo. Seems an odd way of doing it, normally the Auth is replaced by the transaction.

Anyone know how long it takes to drop off? >-(

Raise a query with your card issuer, that's probably best option but I would expect it to drop off in the next couple of days anyway.

The card issuer says up to 30 days! - they say Virgin can cancel it their end, Virgin have no idea what I am on about, its been 9 days now :-( Going to have to suck it up I think

all you can do is wait it out...
had 2 similar issues after my NY trip.
One Steak restaurant charged my card 3 times (this was via my supercard)! money was taken for one (which is correct) & about 10 days later the other 2 payments was cancelled.

Another was in JFK duty free. Been home 2 weeks & money still not been taken. That was on a different Credit Card.
