HI all
Advice needed please.............
I want the book the following but was wondering if I could go through Virgin to do so as I want to use some of my miles, which currently stands at approx 250,000. If possible I want to use the miles to upgrade to first on both legs to and from the US, the itinerary is as follows.
LHR - SFO
SFO - HNL
HNL - SAT
SAT - LHR

Obviously there may be some connections on the HNL - SAT and SAT - LHR legs. I'm hoping some of the more experienced flyers on here might be able to advise on how best to proceed and if there is any chance of actually getting the upgrades using my miles.
Thanks in advance
Trevor

I'm guessing you are looking at DL flights? Don't think VX fly to HNL or SAT

To book, you'll have to give the helpful people at FC a call to grab the mileage seats for you and quote up the fees to pay.

ISTBC but I don't believe you can upgrade DL metal flights with VS FC miles, it is worth asking them though. The only table available online deals with straight reward bookings and I think that some of the burn rates are a little high depending on route. BOS-JFK would set you back 25K for example :-|

Dare I say a Ex Dublin trip with BA or AA might be worth a look, J fares to HNL coming in a little under £1200 at the moment, otherwise as others have suggested you'll need to get on the phone and see what can be offered on Delta flights.
