Changes to Au hand baggage allowance

I have just noticed a sneaky announcement on the VS website

From 1st September 2015, the new hand baggage allowance for Flying Club Gold members for all cabins will be:

2 items - total maximum weight 16kg
Or
1 item at 12kg

(members must diplay their current Gold tags on hand luggage)

So, UC hand baggage allowance in all cabins for FC Au members... I am not complaining

I was going to blame you for the typo but it appears on the VS notice.

Does no one read these things before they get published?

Thanks for spotting this! It's good news for us as we often travel with one or two art portfolios. They are reasonably light, flat and easily stored (one is A3, the other is A2), but if we travel with those we can hardly take anything else other than a tiny bag each, which is very restrictive on long haul flights. This will really help us
