Hendricks Gin

There was bottles of this in JFK clubhouse, yet nothing on the menu's for it & no cocktails had it mentioned (instead an inferior gin). Is it for show, or do you specifically need to ask for it? (& hope it gets served with tonic water & cucumber)

There are bottles of all kinds of things at the JFK bar that don't appear on the menu, it is sometimes easier to ask for what you want as opposed to what they have. If they have it, ask and ye shall receive.

If Aris is bar tending try the lemon drop, they are very good

It's definitely not for show - I've enjoyed one or two Hendricks whilst in the JFK CH over the last year or so...including one or two with a certain joeyc on one occasion though he was drinking the hard-stuff!! The JFK bar team are excellent in my view.

It comes with cucumber and tonic water if you so wish.Just ask away

In most bars if you order a G&T you'll get the cheapest gin on offer. If you want something specific you need to say you want Hendricks/T10/Bombay Sapphire etc. I got berated by one grumpy barkeep at Spinnakers in Sausalito for not saying what I wanted.
