Hi
Does anybody know what is happening with the VS 29 today, it's showing a big delay!
The VS 30 (which we are returning on is currently showing as on time.
I presume that normally the VS 30 is operated by the plane flying the VS 29, or do VS sometimes swap a plan in between islands?
Thanks for any help!

Flight radar saying an a340 is on its way to Bridgetown as we speak. Only and an hour and a quarter out of Gatwick.

Hi
Updated departure time now 2230 (was 1700) and the seat map at OLCI is now showing a A340-600. Lucky there was one lazing about at LHR!
At least we now dodge the UCDS.

Unfortunately, we did our online check-in early when seat map was still showing an A330, picking 2x2 seats behind each other window side. Disappointingly, Virgin re-allocated us seats nothing like our selection and we ended up split across the isle. Thanks Virgin!
Given the delay was caused by the planned A330 developing a technical fault, am I right in assuming this would qualify for compensation under EU 261?

Almost certainly, yes - and assuming it was at least 4 hours late you should qualify for the full €600.

Today's VS29 is also running 5 hours late using the same A346. And it was posted elsewhere that the VS33 was cancelled, presumably to try and get things back on track for tomorrow.
