Virgin to Fly B787-9 LHR to DXB

Reported in this months issue of Business Traveller.
Virgin will operate a B787-9 from LHR to DXB daily from 21st July next year replacing an A330-300.

that'll be a good refresh, though for a short route it's probably the one where the 333's older cabin is less of an issue

downside from my perspective is (from seatguru) it seems 333 vs. 789 seat counts are...

33 vs. 31 UC
48 vs. 35 PE
185 vs. 196 EC

...so given unchanged loads, upgrade availability for UC and especially PE will become scarcer (and maybe fares higher)
