Hello from the Escape lounge Manchester - Friday 25th Sept

Well Happy Friday everyone. Here I am in the Escape lounge (Too) in Manchester T2 awaiting the VS109 to Atlanta and then onwards to Florida.

Check in was seamless thanks to the great team Swissport have here in T2. Security through the priority lane was quick and the lounge is very busy as the flight to Atlanta is full in J. The food offer is light but the service is top-notch so I'm turning a blind eye that this isn't a CH I'm in!

Sadly the VS75 is delayed a little due to an earlier diversion to Gander and the flight is now awaiting 'Ladybird' from LAS.

That said all is good and I have just had a sausage 'barm' with boarding beginning in 30mins.

Hi enjoy your trip I may try via Atlanta for my next trip to mco went via jfk this year from lhr next lax is planned so will keep a eye for trip reports for via Atlanta .
Make good use of the facilities in the lounge a delay is always better to deal with when in a lounge

Enjoy your trip to the very warm ( if a little humid ) sunshine state.

The ATL gateway (as has been said before) works very well, especially from LHR and the early departure means that even with the extra flight from ATL to MCO, you arrive at much the same time as say the VS15 would have
