I agree for the most part. If I were flying UC one way, outbound would be UC over the inbound leg, even on a night flight. The CH lounge has to be the best start to any holiday. We used the Guest List when flying PE to NYC and though expensive, had such a great CH experience, we though it worth the money. So I would pay £50 to fly down for the CH experience too if i were living up North.

But as I said earler, would not bother for LGW in all liklihood.

No. Direct flights to MCO are from LGW.

think I will stick with the MAN-MCO route then as from the replies it seems a bit of a waste to travel to London just for the lounge. The other option would be Glasgow but as we have done Manchester lots in the past it almost feels like part of our holidays

I salute you, sir. We are minded to do the same for our post Christmas trip, but for three things;

1. We like having as few things as possible to lug around the airport,
2. If the temperature is anything like Boston was at the same time last year cabin baggage will not hold enough layers,
3. Shallow person that I am, I like to feeling of the cases magically vanishing out of the boot of the car at DTCI :)

Well I'm at least going to try 8-) I think we can manage it, we should manage enough layers, and bulky items like coats we'll be wearing. I even bought nice new Antler cabin bags for it. We shall see if it works out...

Hi Lisa,

I'm a bit late to the party on this one, but just wanted to add my welcome to the site.. I have to say I love this statement:

Jedimum wrote: I'm really hoping to get some UC upgrades for next year (just me and BF) and PE seats for our family trip I'm hoping you can help

You and the bf in UC leaving the kids in PE... brilliant.

No time spent in the LHR or the LGW CH is a waste, give it some time on this board... you may change your mind.. Welcome :cool:

Oh no joey .. I meant mine and BF trip without kids then our family trip later all together :blush:
My boys have said that they will not go to Florida again next year and we want to do horror nights so it's an adults only florida and a family trip somewhere else (not sure yet) ... I have told them that 2017 is florida though :D
