Where are the LHR-JFK 747's NOV/DEC?

I'm planning a new trips back and forth NYC during November and December and as far as I can see the 747's that usually dominate the route, or at least the VS10/46 are no more. For the majority of Nov and for all of December's schedule it's the 346. There are also zero 787's flying to EWR. Would anyone happen to know why this may be?

The LHR 747s are being phased out of the fleet hence there are fewer of them available.

I thought the LHR 747 hadn't had any any attention at all as they were being phased out?

I'm due to fly on the VS9 on 20/11 and the seat map is still showing as a 744. Hoping for Mustang Sally so I can complete the fleet.

Shame that the Dreamliner has been taken off the NYC routes though, as I wouldn't have minded seeing how the VS example compares to the others I've been on.

My vs9 on the15th of Feb has now changed to a 346

VS10 still showing as a 744 on Dec 5th. Fingers crossed it stays like that ...

A 346 is just not the same! I was hoping for one last ride on Tinker Bell. Many memorable flights on that plane (and Mustang Sally too). Sigh..

Tinkerbelle is having a new lease of life at LGW so you can still fly her for a few years

I have a few trips scheduled before the 747s leave, some are purposely being timed to get on a 747 before they depart from LHR, next one is the VS10 on 19 November.
