PE/Econ in the bubble

Last time we flew to Vegas it was all PE in the bubble, I know this has now changed but what was the thinking behind this. And now, is there a divider between the cabins up there or is it all open? Thanks

Last time we flew to Vegas it was all PE in the bubble, I know this has now changed but what was the thinking behind this. And now, is there a divider between the cabins up there or is it all open? Thanks

The change was made as part of increasing the overall number of PE seats on the LGW a/c.
There is a curtain dividing the PE and Y sections, but the crew serve all the pax upstairs and all pax use the toilets at the front of the PE cabin.

Personally, we prefer the downstairs PE cabin on this a/c config.

The split between the two sections corresponds to the emergency exit in the bubble.
