This morning we visit mother and mother in law then home for a first Christmas alone in 40 years of marriage.
There is a bottle of Lanson in the fridge for toasting and a joint of beef coming up to room temp for roasting.
A special thought for all those who are working today.

We have walked the dog in the rain, had breakfast (eggs royale) and are leaving tradition by having a curry extravaganza today. Dip in the hot tub later with a glass or two of Bolly to round it all off.

Belated good wishes to everyone from me. Had such a busy day, starting with a very lazy room service breakfast, and a day of sightseeing around Central Park. Weather warm, people out en mass, absolute gridlock by the afternoon. Happy Holidays
