Hello from the LHR Clubhouse

Not too busy here here this morning. Service is good. Just enjoyed a nice breakfast in the Brassiere.

Off to Miami on the VS117 for some sunshine as I've had enough of the rain. Had some of the worst flooding I've ever seen in my local area in Lancashire over the last few days, no damage at home though thankfully.

Enjoy the clubhouse and have a great trip.

Just announced a 30min delay before boarding (pretty much all VS flights the same so far this morning), oh well never mind

Glad your house is ok. #1 Daughter is returning to her flat in central Manchester today which is close to the Irwell. We've just read the flood warning has been lifted for her area. It's horrendous for all, but I was particularly saddened to see the pictures of Hebden Bridge.

How lucky to be escaping this weather. Hopefully you are well on your way now.
