Also look at Carmel Limos, who come recommended for NYC transfers - I believe they offer a nationwide service. We got excellent service from them in NYC so can highly recommend.

We booked our transfer with Hoppa. It was around £39 one way from the airport to Mondrian South Beach hotel.
We are off on Thursday, I will provide feedback when we are back.

I booked and prepaid, including toll and tip. The driver took us via Brooklyn Bridge so no toll, and on arrival at hotel then offered to return the toll fee. Impeccable service. Wish I'd booked them for return transfer too, but instead took a yellow cab and the driver ripped us off. I've submitted a complaint to 311 about that. >-(

We used them both ways. Not phased by our being half an hour ahead of schedule on the way in, and outside our hotel fifteen minutes before the time arranged. Their call centre was very good with me too when I called in on the day of leaving anxious about the gridlocked traffic we'd seen in the street outside the hotel the evening before, assuring me New Year's Eve would be much quieter (and it was). We opted to pay the driver both ways, and by the time we were in wi if range the invoice was in my inbox.

I downloaded and booked through the app and then when I arrived used the app to confirm arrival without needing to call. The app told me where to go and wait for the car and allowed me to gps track the car. I was very impressed.

Speaking of Carmel, I've just received an email from them offering USD66 free ride credit for downloading their App.
