Hello From A very Quiet LHR Clubhouse

With 11 flights cancelled to NY & DC its very empty, plenty of spare to spread out and wonderful service.
Once again travelling to Dubai and staying at the Waldorf Astoria on the Palm for Mr D birthday.
I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.

PS Do let us know about the Waldorf

I would also be interested to hear about the hotel. I have a trip planned for March and my preferred choice, JBH, is coming in at £400pn for a balcony room.

I don't know why it's acceptable in my brain to spend £1,000+ on a flight each but £400pn in a hotel is a no no.
