I have a friend in the US who is on the Virgin ATL-MAN flight in May. She's flying economy. She's never flown before. Does anyone have any advice about the best economy seats on that flight, or any other info that might be useful? :)

Thanks :)

Hey, it depends really on what your friend would like to get out of her flight. ATL-MAN isn't the longest haul, roughly 6:30-7 hours depending. It's a pretty popular route so she might find that she benefits from either an exit row or extra leg room seat. I believe she can book both online for £35/$50 each way. There's a few other bits and pieces that she can use - they are explained on this page :)

Hope this helps!

I've JUST done the same route in economy, plane very full, and economy is very far back. I recommend trying to get a seat in the 20s as it feels a long time trying to get off otherwise. For the record, last year I travelled in economy to Orlando and I think the food offering has improved enormously since then.

Thanks for the replies :)

Does this flight (VS110, A330-300) offer wifi, and is there a charge? Can't find info on Virgin's site as to which planes have it and which don't .
